Mrs Calls Candy Company -- Caramels

Mrs. Call’s History

In 1996 Dennis and Carly Schindler began to make caramels, crème syrups, chocolate/caramel pretzels, and lollipops for specialty shops. “Carly Schindler’s” quality products soon became known as the finest in the state of Utah.

During 2004 John Call purchased the company from the Schindlers and changed the name to “Mrs. Call’s Candy Co”. He then teamed up with a former co-worker, Randy Hall, who is a third generation candy maker and who has had 30 years experience making and marketing quality candies. Together they improved their “stand-up” caramels using Randy’s Father’s and Grandpa’s old recipes which back to the 1920’s. They came up with a caramel that would “knock people’s socks off”. The key to this wonderful caramel is the use of fresh, pure, heavy whipping cream, butter and other fine ingredients. There are no preservatives, hydrogenated oils, or harmful ingredients in this product.

“Our forefathers taught us that you could only get out of a product what you put into it. We knew that there were people out there who have very discriminating tastes and appreciate a uniquely wonderful gourmet product”.

The demand for the product as been so great that John and Randy moved the company to a larger building in Heber City, Utah in 2006, and acquired better equipment in order to make more caramels and chocolate/caramel pretzels and to better serve their customers. With their new building and equipment they are ready to accommodate consisderably more business in the Western States without sacrificing quality and service.

They feel a very strong commitment to make products with only the finest of raw ingredients, with attractive, upscale packaging, and to provide excellent customer service. They are unwilling to compromise in any way. “We want your happiness to be associated with our wonderful caramels and pretzels”. ~John Call & Randy Hall
